This is a lovely vase. I personally love the earthy and antiqued look of pieces like this.It’s a really nice size as well, and I love the double handles.What prompted me to take off a star is the durability. If you have ever picked up antique ceramics you know how heavy and durable they made those. If you dropped one of those suckers it would be hard to know if the ceramic or whatever it dropped on would take more damage. When I took this out of the packaging I immediately thought I careful I needed to be because I could feel how lightweight and porous the clay is. So many things this day aren’t meant to last, sadly. That being said, if this is going to get placed on a shelf for decoration, without worry of disturbance, then it truly is pretty and a fine piece to look at.
